I had an opportunity to visit pismo beach this weekend!!!  had a great time :) I had never been there - till now...

it was well worth the 5 hour drive, minus the broken windshield - but whatevs...  thank you for fixing it for me insurance company :)

here's a few photos from friday...  this girl and i took a little walk on the beach, had some food, drank some beer, sat in a hot tub, ate some ribs, drank some more beer, etc. etc. etc...

a little more somber of a day though...  rain...  my last day in town...  missing my friends already...  and someone special to me...  kinda ready to go home, but i didn't want to leave...

same as before.  but different.

what do you do when you're in a city you're not familiar with?  i take a walk w/my camera, talk to people, eat some food, drink some drinks...  absorb.

i stayed in the Ace Hotel...  it was awesome.

I was taking the above photo...  and the guy below - said - "HEY, here's your picture!!!" so i took his picture, then we walked an talked for a few blocks...  he was displaced when Katrina struck the south, made his way to Seattle and had just left a job interview...  nice guy, we had a good walk.

a couple blocks later, this guy was looking for some coffee...   so i hooked him up and he posed for a photo :) 

i didn't talk to this... but it spoke to me...  i love the lines.

hot. maybe... i didn't eat any...

this was one of the most quiet, peacefull mornings i've had in a long time.

i love the little water droplets on these golden blades of grass.
